ProWine Hong Kong 2021: Future can be expected

ProWine Hong Kong - the international trade fair for wines and spirits - returned to Hong Kong on 7 - 9th September 2021.  The exhibition has become a special local wine trade fair of extraordinary significance.

 

Affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, ProWine Hong Kong 2021 was held as a special local trade fair in Hong Kong this year. With entry restrictions and quarantine measures still in place, many overseas wine and spirits professionals was unable to attend the trade fair as scheduled. Although there are some obstacles to organize the trade fair, it did not affect ProWine Hong Kong 2021 be held on time and the enthusiasm and attention of exhibitors and visitors for it. As a local wine and spirits trade fair worthy of attention in 2021. With 2,263 registered trade professional and business visitors for ProWine Hong Kong 2021, combined with food and hospitality professional visitors from HOFEX, the total number of visitors reaching 17,911 for HOFEX 2021, attended the 3-day event which reflected the major efforts of the organizers of ProWine Hong Kong in promoting the exhibition to the audience, even facing the pressure of the COVID-19.

 

ProWine Hong Kong 2021 offered global producers a business expansion gateway to Asia. Concurrently, regional importers could source from the latest and best-selling wines, spirits, and solutions for trade professionals. This year, GOODBASE TRADING LIMITED, Hop Hing Loong Company Limited, Milestone Beverages HK Limited, and other well-known companies showed up in ProWine Hong Kong 2021. Jointek Fine Wines (HK) brought some of the boutique and high-end brands in their product portfolio. During ProWine Hong Kong 2021, Decanter brought us the Award-winning wine tasting, WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) set up a master class with the theme "Trending Bourgogne", AWSEC (Asia Wine and Service Education Centre) carried out a tasting with the theme of California wine, and other well-known organizations / institutions brought wonderful master classes to experience the high level in the most intuitive way.

After giving a wonderful Decanter award-winning wine tasting master class, Jennifer Docherty MW told the organizer: “I am so happy to see ProWine Hong Kong can be gone ahead and the wine forum is totally full house. It shows that people are ready to do the business and it is so nice to return to the normal scene. COVID-19 has a certain degree of impact on the wine market, but we are still very glad to look down on some positive sales transformations.”

As before, ProWine Hong Kong 2021 was held concurrently with HOFEX. Remarking 34 years of excellence, HOFEX – Asia’s Leading Food & Hospitality Tradeshow, has been taking the industry on numerous extraordinary journeys of culinary delicacies from all over the world, bringing the most comprehensive selection of Food & Drinks, Hospitality Equipment & Supplies products to Asia. In addition, compared with previous years, this exhibition has added a special feature. Natural & Organic Asia  was held concurrently with ProWine Hong Kong 2021. ProWine Hong Kong 2021 realized multi-exhibition linkage and created a cross-industry comprehensive exhibition in 2021 multi-dimensional showing the charm of the exhibition. 

 

The next editions of the ProWein family fairs have been already scheduled, with ProWine Sao Paulo 2021 slated for 5-7 October in Sao Paulo. ProWine Shanghai will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Center from 9 to 11 November 2021. ProWine Mumbai will celebrate its premiere from 17 to 18 November. ProWein 2022 will be staged from 27 to 29 March 2022, and the next ProWine Singapore will feature in the program again from 10 to 13 May 2022.  ProWine Hong Kong 2023 will return in glory from 10 to 12 May in 2023.
