Wines & Cheese in Sai Kung’s Sunday Market

Sai Kung, the fishing harbour in Hong Kong’s New Territories offers a quaint escape from the hustle and bustle. 30 minutes to an hour’s travel time can bring you to the monthly Farmer’s Market. The November edition brings a collection of wines, organic foods in a brisk environment. The market will be held Sunday, 6th November from 11 am to 5 pm at Hong Kong Academy (View Map).

A Hop-full Autumn

Fall brings a sensation to many parts of the world know as Oktoberfest. Pronounced [ɔkˈtoːbɐˌfɛst], this malty funfair of libations and liberty offers chances to taste the foods, drinks, and (a limited amount of) German culture.

Keeping with tradition, the annual Bierfest takes place between 21st October and 12th November from 6 – 11 pm, offering a daily happy hour 6-7 pm. The modest entry fee includes a choice libation, alcoholic if you’re of age, included with the unique fall experience.

Venue:

Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui (View Map).
